Self-Reflection Exercice – My generous spirit brings joy to others.
I bring happiness into the lives of others when I make their life easier, even in small ways. Spreading joy also brings me happiness as well. So I strive to make the world a better place. I share my money with those who inspire me and those who need it more than I. I give generously with no thought of a “return on my investment.” I give simply for the joy of giving. It is the same way with any craft or skill I develop – I share what I can do with others and we all benefit. I share my knowledge o Continue Reading...
How to Achieve Greatness

Here are some questions you might ask yourself: * How important is financial wealth to me? * Is having a happy or large family the most important thing in my life? * Are there certain skills or gifts that I would like to master? * When I die, what will be the most important goal I achieved? Change is a blessing that I am learning to enjoy.
I am grateful for the gift of change. Without change, I would never be able to grow, learn new things, accomplish my goals, or look forward to anything different than what I’ve got. Even though I may resist change at times, I am learning to enjoy its possibilities. Even when change is forced upon me and brings challenges, it opens new doors of opportunity. I now realize that a change that seems devastating can actually propel me into a better life! Where would I be today if I had not lost that job, causing me to seek a better, more fulfilling path in life? How could I have the husband I enjoy now if I had not left my old boyfriend behind? Change is one of th Continue Reading...
Being grateful for where I am forges the path to where I want to be.
I make a conscious effort to give thanks for all good things in my life. The more I show my gratitude, the more good things I receive to be thankful for! When I awake in the morning, I give thanks for the new day. The good feelings I generate start my day in a perfect way, and I find that one good thing leads to another. This positive boost helps me fly through my daily tasks with energy and momentum. I thank my spouse for the things he does for me. This makes him feel loved and appreciated and he goes out of his way to do even more good things for me. It’s a never-ending cycle of lov Continue Reading...
I take life one day at a time.
My life is a great adventure and I want to be able to appreciate every moment. Taking life one day at a time provides me the opportunity to do this. I let go of worrying about the past or the future and immerse myself in the present day. Each morning, as the dawn brings me a new day, I look forward with excitement to living with purpose. Each day brings me new opportunities. It’s like I get a fresh start on life every morning, and I love this feeling! I make no pre-suppositions about what the day will bring. If it brings challenges, I know I have the confidence to find solutions to overcome them. If it brings pleasan Continue Reading...
I can help myself by helping others.
I believe that what I send out comes back to me many times over. When I help others, I am helping myself. Often what I send out comes back in unexpected ways. I don’t expect, for instance, to get rich because I bought coffee for the homeless man on the corner! But I do believe that the kindness I send out into the world bounces back to me in some form. It may be sooner or later, but it always comes back. I recognize that it is counterproductive to give only because of what I might receive in return. Doing so voids the point. I give simply because people are in need. As part of a family, community and society, I know tha Continue Reading...
I feel successful and I let go of all obstacles that stand in my way.
I am a success! Each day I allow myself the luxury of enjoying the good feelings that come with my achievements. I am also confident that I can overcome every challenge. Rather than bemoan an issue, I seek solutions and take decisive action to continue moving forward toward my goals. To ensure my success in any endeavor, I divide my goal into attainable steps and then take action immediately to build momentum. [hana-code-insert name='content' /] As I complete each step, I reward myself. I feel good about it and proud of myself for accomplishing a necessary task that puts me closer and closer to my goal. It doesn’t matter if the task was small or if it only took a few minutes to complete it. A success is a Continue Reading...
